How do I keep this sanding bit put on my rotary tool?
After reading the instructions again it still is slipping. I loosened the screw on the bit, slipped on the sanding bit.. tightened it up and it still keeps slipping down.
We need more information on what type of sanding bit you are talking about. I’m assuming its a “barrel” type sanding bit with a steel shank, a rubber “barrel” with a screw on the end that you loosen and tighten to install the cylindrical sand paper. If that is the case, tighten the screw a little tighter. The tighter you turn the screw, the more pressure it puts on the inside of the sand paper. Also, being a rotary tool that spins VERY fast, if you apply too much pressure to the piece you are working on, it might cause the sandpaper to move as well.
