What kind of painting tool should I use with acrylic paint on a canvas?
I want to paint a canvas all one background but I don’t want to use a paint brush because I don’t want the “streak” look. I’m using acrylic paint (its a cheap project) with glitter mixed in but I dont know what kind of tool I should use to get a clean, background look.
Sponge? Roller? I’m not an artist so I would love to hear some recomendations!

PS- I have seven canvases I’m painting, all different colors. I’m gluing one wooden letter on each canvas to spell out my daughter’s name. The letters will be white and the canvases will be blue, green, purple, pink, yellow and orange if that helps!
I’d use a roller, myself. Simple, fast, and gets the job done. Make sure that the roller is one of the smooth ones, not the usual fluffy type – those leave a texture behind.
