Need to reinstall under mount sink under granite counter. It is falling down, seal breaking?
Had an undermount sink installed under granite counter. Sink is now separating from bottom of counter. Appears sink was held into place through use of wooden braces that pin sink to bottom of counter.
To reseal and secure sink, any suggestions out there of how to do it?
Is caulk/sealant special type and where can I find? At Home Depot or Lowe’s?
make sure the brackets are secure and tight. use a hair dryer to dry out any water caught in the space between the sink and the granite. use any silicon based caulk to fill the gap. i suggest you use painters tape top and bottom before applying the caulk to get a nice straight line. remove immediately after smoothing caulk with wet finger.
