What bowling ball should i get?
I currently throw a Gyro Pro. It has a simple “label drill” pattern and i am looking for something that will move about the same maybe a little bit more. any suggestions would help a ton!
I’m a mid speed stroker. usualy around 15-16 mph depending on the #of games that day. starting on the 20 board and hitting the 2nd arrow (from the right gutter) with a 15yr old Gyro Pro, with a label drill pattern, and it hits the pocket solid. I wanna keep a ball with a steady arc not justa hard back end reaction. any suggestions?
For a modern bowling ball, there are much more complicated drilling layouts, and you’ll have to consult a pro shop to take advantage of them. A Gyro’s an old ball, it won’t hook much, and any high-performance ball on the market today will probably hook a lot more. I won’t make any recommendation (not knowledgeable enough) but I’ve heard that the Storm Virtual Gravity and Energy and Roto-Grip Cell and Rogue Cell are great balls.
