Concrete drill bits??
Any tips on drilling concrete? I’ve bought the standard concrete bits but have not had much luck with them. They just don’t seem to drill well, even with a hammer drill. Is there an all around bit out there that will do a decent job in drilling concrete (just around the house like porch foundations, etc…)?
Go rent a roto hammer instead of a hammer drill, the difference is enough to make it worth the expense unless it’s just a dozen or so 1/4″ holes. Use plenty of water/vinegar 50/50 mix when drilling. A roto hammer will hit the bit harder and drill faster than a hammer drill.
