do i need a screw gun or can a power drill screw self drilling screws for fixing wood to 4ml metal?
Hi there! im building an aviary for my birds , it will have a metal 4ml frame , i would like to attach plywood panels on to the frame with self drilling screws, i don’t own a screw gun and i was wondering if a power drill would do the job please advice , thank you
Yes a drill will work fine. I needs to be variable speed because single speed drills run too fast for controlled work other than drilling.
Most cordless drills have a slower speed and clutch setting (so the screws do not get over-torqued and snap off).
