what are some ways to set up a roock drum kit?
i have never been able to set it up how i like it. everything feels really weird.
if anyone out there could give me some tips, and not obvious tips either such as: first set up drum kit. anything but that would be nice.

kind of a vague question. but essentially, you’ll want to set up your kit depending on how many pieces you have. i usually have mine with the snare drum between my knees and the double bass pedal on either side of it. from there, i have my 3 toms set up fairly close together. my ride is positioned right over the lowest tom and i have crashes set up all over. really what you wanna think about is comfort. how far do you like to extend your arms when you play? if the answer is not much, then consider bringing all the pieces in a little tighter.
