what specialty tools are there for removing wood screws ?
I am tearing down an old wooden deck and have run into problems with removing the 3″ deck screws. Some come out easily while others tend to round off. I am using a drill/driver with phillips head blades. I use quite abit of pressure as I bear down on the screw as I try backing them out, but some just don’t budge! Is there some kind of “easy-out” that I can use to make this less difficult?
Its called a screw extractor. Most hardware stores should have one.
