i broke a bolt off in my motorcycle engine, even cobalt drill won’t drill it out, do i need a better tip?
I took off the exhaust from my 82 suzuki motorcycle, i broke off a bolt and bought what looked like a good drill bit in lowes, but it won’t drill this out, Do i need to buy a special kind of tipped drill for it to drill? oh ya, i did have a small hole drilled in it before but broke an easy out in there. So i need to drill that out basically, which is probably why im not able to, i know i screwed up sorry, 
Even a cobalt bit won’t touch that easy-out.
Easy-outs are kinda brittle. The best at-home thing I found was to try and keep breaking it. Chip it out a bit at a time. Doesn’t always work.
The best way to get it out would be to take the head to a machine shop with an EDM machine and have them burn it out. Then they (or you) could remove the rest of the bolt. Re-tap the hole before you put a new bolt in. And use high-temp anti-seize.
